Continuing our support to the Strike Concept-Iron Strike 3

Ex IS3 will focus around the Copehill Down complex

We are again looking forward to supporting the British Army’s Strike concept.  Cervus will be deploying onto Salisbury Plain  at the end of Sep 19 with the Strike Experimentation Group (SEG) on Exercise IRON STRIKE 3.

1 (UK) Bde will be using Mastiff vehicles to simulate the forthcoming Boxer vehicle

Under a LTPA framework contract, will be using our data analytics engine Hive to capture, store and analyse a range of data types such as; Live simulation data, Command and Control (C2) data and observations from troops and Brigade staff.

Units will also have access to a variety of technologies that will improve their situational awareness

“We have a long association with the Armoured Cavalry and Strike Concept, having worked on the AJAX capability and supporting the SEG since its inception. This is our third Iron Strike exercise and we are hoping to add an independent and data-driven perspective of some of the concept’s issues and solution viability. Some of these answers will not be solved by equipment procurement alone and we are therefore looking forward to seeing how the 1 (UK) Bde team innovate through these problems.”
